Xi'an know-how

How far are the Terracotta Warriors from Xi'an?

About 40 km east of the city — roughly an hour's drive. A private car beats the tourist buses: you leave when you want, skip the parking-lot walk, and your driver waits while you explore.

What's the best time to see the Warriors?

Arrive at opening (8:30am) or after 3pm — tour groups flood Pit 1 from mid-morning. Our drivers plan departure around this by default.

Is Mount Hua dangerous?

The famous plank walk is optional and safety-harnessed. Cable cars serve both the North and West peaks, so you can enjoy spectacular ridge views without serious hiking. It's a long day — we depart early.

Do I need cash in Xi'an?

No — Alipay and WeChat Pay accept foreign cards, and your transfers and tours are prepaid in USD. Keep small cash for Muslim Quarter street snacks.
